6 O'Clock Damson Gin
Traditionally made, in small batches, 6 O'clock's Damson Gin uses hand-picked British damsons and a moderate amount of sugar.
The damsons are left to steep in 6 O'Clock's London Dry Gin. The fruits give up their colour and flavour, and combine deliciously with the smoothness of the gin, giving an intensely fruity dryness.
On the nose you are greeted by aromas of damsons, and sweet marzipan notes erupt from the glass. In terms of the taste, deliciously fruity plum and date flavours are quickly followed by a flash of citrus and a delicate spiciness. Subtle tannins join on the finish to refresh and balance out the sweetness.

Perfect Serve
For this gin we have two perfect serves. One ideal for when you're looking for a real refreshing hit of sweet fruitiness, and one which is perfect for the cooler months.
For something sweet, yet refreshing, serve this with plenty of ice, 50ml of the gin and 200ml of Double Dutch Tonic Water. This pulls back the gin's sweetness slightly and adds a balancing quinine bitterness. However, the gin's distinctive plummy damson flavours are still front and centre!
For something more for the cooler months (or chilly summer evenings), take 50ml of the gin and add 150ml of Double Dutch Ginger Ale. The ginger flavour in this work perfectly with the sweet fruitiness in the gin, giving a delicious, and comforting drink.
