Bareksten Double Gin
Produced by Oss Craft Distillery in Norway, Bareksten makes spirits to represent the true essence of Norway. They are dark, wild, breathtaking and dramatic in the look of the bottle, the aromas as you open it, and the taste when you drink it.
Bareksten takes its inspiration from the Norwegian Forests. The long days of sunlight in the summer, combined with ample rain and warm weather ensure perfect growing conditions for a number of herbs and berries. These Nordic, natural and organic herbs, potatoes and berries form the basis for the unique flavour of Bareksten.
With their Double Gin they take two seperate distillations before blending them together (hence the Double). The first is made by distilling juniper by itself. The second takes eight other different botanicals.
The result is a truly vibrant gin. As with other Bareksten Botanical gins, there is an earthy juniper undernote, joined by a spiciness. This is brightened perfectly with hints of elderflower and orange peel. It has a perfect creamy mouthfeel, with a touch of the berry sweetness which is common in Bareksten.

Perfect Serve
This can be enjoyed with either a classic indian tonic, such as Fentimans - or for a less bitter, floral drink try with Fentimans Gently Sparkling Elderflower.
With either of these, take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150ml of your chosen mixer and stir gently. Garnish with a slice of orange.
