Bivrost Arctic Gin 50cl
Arctic berries, and a touch of citrus and pine are combined perfectly in this Arctic gin
Description
Bivrost Arctic Gin
In the far North of Norway, at 69 degrees North, Bivrost Arctic gin is produced by the Aurora Spirit Distillery, the world's most northern.
They create this gin under the dancing northern lights. In fact, this is how Bivrost got its name. Combining two ancient norse words: Biv (meaning Shaking, and Rost which means Road or Path. This is considered to be the Viking word for describing the Northern Lights. (They believed they were the magical bridge between earth and heaven)
Taking the melting water from the local glaciers, they purify and combine with locally harvested botanicals. This truly ensures a unique product of Arctic Norway.
This is a silky gin which has an elegant balance. It has a delicate almost fruity aroma with a touch of pine from the juniper and citrus. The flavours combine arctic berries, roots, spices and juniper which results in a fresh, medium body with a medium-length citrus and spicy finish.

Perfect Serve
We love this in a classic gin and tonic, and find a classic indian tonic works best, such as Double Dutch Indian Tonic.
In a large copa glass filled with ice, add 50ml of the gin, and top up with the tonic. Stir gently, and garnish with some raspberries and blueberries (setting off the berries in the gin).
(For a sweeter drink, try replacing the tonic for Fever-Tree raspberry and rhubarb tonic).

TopTop gin. Voor het eerst in Noorwegen gedronken, boven de poolcirkel. Erg lekker.
