Pickering's Gin

In 2013 two long time friend's and business partner's (Marcus Pickering and Matt Gammell) decided to do something a little different....

Using a 1947 recipe which Marcus has inherited, they decided to utilise some derelict dog kennels in Summerhall (Edinburgh, UK), to create Summerhall Distillery. They became the first new distillery in Edinburgh in over 150 years.

With no background in distilling, they tried and tested the recipe they had, they used the nine Bombay Botanicals, and engineered a new gin from the old recipe.

The result is a gin which is famous for being full-bodied, with a perfect bitter-sweet balance.
