Coquerel Liqueur de Pomme au Calvados 50cl
A delicious blend of calvados and apples from House Coquerel
Description
Coquerel Liqueur de Pomme au Calvados
The story of Domaine du Coquerel (House Coquerel) begins in 1937, when René Gilbert founded the company.
They are based in Manoir du Coquerel which is situated in Normandy. Originally they started with the production of Calvados (which they still make) and are within the area where AOC Calvados can be made. After the success of their Calvados, they now also create a range of gins (Normindia), and liqueurs.
With their Pomme Liqueur, they macerate apples (Pomme is French for Apple) in their award winning Calvados.
Good to know: They don't use any artificial colours or preservatives in its creation
This maceration technique ensures the liqueur has a colour resembling apple juice. It has a delicious apple fuelled aroma and a fresh, almost crunchy sweet apple flavour with a hint of lemon.

Perfect Serve
This can be enjoyed simply on its own - and sipped. We particularly liked this served over crushed ice.
