Courvoisier VS Cognac
With a blend of several cru's (which have been aged between three and seven years), Courvoisier VS Cognac is composed principally of Fins Bois along with a balancing hand of Petite Champagne.
Through the blending of younger and older cognacs, Courvoisier VS gains a fruity yet delicate taste along with a bouquet which is packed full of ripe fruit and spring flowers.
These flavours and aromas are derived through the differing cognacs. The hint of ripe fruit, which is the signature aroma of Courvoisier VS is due to the chalky soil in Fins Bois. The Spring Flowers are a hallmark of grapes which are harvested at their peak from the Fins Bois crus. Finally, the fresh oakiness is derived throughout the ageing process, and is controlled to ensure it doesn’t dominate the young cognac.
