Courvoisier VSOP Cognac (Mini) 5cl
A delicate bouquet and excellent marriage of oak and exotic flavours ensures Courvoisier earns its place in the big four cognac producers with their VSOP
Description
Courvoisier VSOP Cognac
Initially founded in 1828 by Felix Courvoisier, Maison Courvoisier is located in Jarnac, at the heart of France’s Cognac region.
They are now considered to be one of the 'big four' cognac companies (along with Hennessy, Rémy Martin, and Martell), with Courvoisier as the youngest.
Their signature style reveals the intricacies and exuberance of the floral cognac.
Interesting Fact: Napoléon III (the nephew and heir of Napoléon Bonaparte) personally requested Courvoisier - and even awarded Maison Courvoisier the title of "Fournisseur Officiel de la Maison de l'Empereur" (official supplier of the Imperial Court) in 1869. This was one of the reasons it became known across Europe - and was enjoyed at many royal courts
With their VSOP (Very Special Old Pale) Cognac, Courvoisier have skillfully crafted a blend of several crus creating a perfect balance between the floral and fruity Fins Bois and harmonious Grande and Petite Champagnes. When chosing, they ensure each is at the peak of their aromatic potential.
It extends a delicate bouquet and excellent marriage of oak and exotic flavours. Whilst the aroma is subtle it has refined under-notes of peach, toasted almond and jasmine.

Perfect Serve
If enjoying straight up on its own, ensure you enjoy this at room temperature from a tulip / snifter glass. However this also works exceptionally well in cognac based cocktails.
