Following the launch of their classic gin in 2010, Edinburgh gin have continued to create perfectly blended drinks using their original gin as the base. They still keep their heritage at the fore, with their gins being made in their West End and Leith distilleries in Edinburgh (Scotland, UK).
This gin is no different. Taking their base classic gin, they have combined natural ingredients, perfectly tangy gooseberries and sweet elderflower to create a harmonious blend.
This blend creates a refreshing and deliciously aromatic gin. They have perfectly balanced the tart and tangy flavours of the gooseberries against the sweeter elderflower.

This works perfectly with a ligher tonic, as there is already a touch of sweetness in the gin. We recommend Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Tonic for this. In a large copa-glass filled with ice, add 50ml of gin to 150ml of the tonic. Garnish with a sliced fresh gooseberry, of if you don't have one to hand a green grape works almost as well.
If you're not a fan of light tonics, use Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic water instead.
