Using only the juciest summer berries, Edinburgh Gin have created an intensely fruity liqueur
Edinburgh Gin Raspberry Liqueur
With a desire to create a Raspberry Liqueur which was full of sweet berry flavours, Edinburgh Gin looked to Perthshire (an area in Scotland, to the north of Edinburgh). This area is celebrated for producing the most flavoursome soft fruit and the raspberries that are used come from a family-owned farm in Alyth, Blairgowrie.
The fruits are picked at peak ripeness to ensure the perfect balance; which ensures the right amount of sweetness to balance the fruit's natural tartness.
This fruit is infused with the award-winning classic Edinburgh Gin along with sugar. Leaving the berries to macerate for a month ensures that they extract the maximum flavour. The result is an intensely raspberry flavoured sweet liqueur, with a touch of tartness from the berries.

This is truly versatile. Serve simply over ice or perhaps mixed with soda water or lemonade. Add a twist of lemon to counter the sweetness and compliment the tartness of raspberries (50ml of the liqueur to 150ml of your chosen mixer works well). If you like bubbles, it's the perfect addition to Prosecco.
For a delicious cocktail, try The First Kiss. In a shaker filled with ice, add 35ml of Edinburgh Gin Valentines Gin, 15ml of Edinburgh Gin Raspberry Liqueur, and 60ml of pineapple juice. Shake well, and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh raspberry.
