Heidell Gin
Whilst Heidell Gin is a relative newcomer to the gin world, it's one which has already won a Silver award from the London Spirits Competition.
This gin is produced in Naantali, a town located in the Finnish Archipelago - the South West of Finland (west of Helsinki). They utilise as many local ingredients as they can, crystal clear Finnish water, a Dutch still and take inspiration from the Sea.
With their flagship gin Heidell have created a classic London Dry gin with a nautical, contemporary Finnish twist (their Master Distiller is afterall a retired Finnish Naval Officer).
The aroma is of a classic gin, with notes of juniper and a hint of the sea. On the palate the juniper is pervalent through the drink, giving a delicious dryness. There are also notes of citrus, and a touch of spice from coriander and cardamom. A classic gin - but with a refined, contemporary Finnish twist.

Perfect Serve
We loved this in a really classic Gin & Tonic, with The Artisan Drinks Co. Classic London Tonic (any classic unflavoured tonic water will work). Take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of gin, and gently pour over 150 - 200ml of tonic. Stir gently and garnish with a slice of lemon.
