Icelandic Eagle Gin
This is an artisinal gin, which is produced in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik.
Launched in 2016, it creates gin using an artisinal process, which ensures that every detail is carefully controlled. It is gluten-free and they belive te secret to the premium product is the use of natural Icelandic water.
It is made using classic gin botanicals; Juniper, ginger, angelica root, coriander seeds, orange peel, lemon peel. The result of this is a non-nonsence gin, with a classic profile of juniper, depth is added with a spice note, and the citrus sweetens it slightly, and brightens the drink
The aroma has earthier notes of the angelica root and ginger, whilst the juniper and citrus highlight on the palate - warmed but a touch of the ginger. The finish is herbal, with a delicate note of liquorice emerging.
The design of the bottle is clean, dark and elegant, standing out from all the others. It hint's at what is inside. The gin is rich in flavour and perfect for all fans of a classic gin
Interesting fact.... In Icelandic folklore, Iceland has 4 guardian spirits - a bull, a mountain giant, a dragon and an eagle. Whilst this gin is represented by the eagle, the same distillery makes a vodka representing the mountain giant, and they have plans to launch other drinks to represent the two other spirits.

Perfect served as a gin and ginger (which is a key botanical in the gin), or a more traditional gin and tonic.
We recommend Fever-Tree Ginger Ale or Premium Indian Tonic Water. Take 50ml of the gin, and pour into a large glass filled with ice. Gently pour over 150 - 200ml of your chosen mixer and stir gently. Garnish with a thin slice of ginger, and a slice of orange.
