Johnnie Walker Black Label Highlands Origin Whisky
A true icon and recognised all over the world Johnnie Walker Black Label is seen as the benchmark for all other deluxe whisky blends.
In the original Black Label Whisky Johnnie Walker created a select blend utilising whiskys from across the whole of Scotland. With their Limited Edition Origin Series, they have created four additional blends, each of which is taken from specific whisky regions across Scotland.
In this, their Highlands Origin, the malts all originate from the Highlands region of Scotland (including those coming from Teaninich and Clynelish).
On the nose there are definite notes of rich fruit cake and even marmalade. As the aromas develop in the nose, tobacco also comes through.
On the palate this has a definite fruitiness too it - with both rich dried fruits, and brighter fresh fruits as well. There is an almost wine or cognac edge to it.
The finish takes the rich fruit cake notes further, bringing in marzipan and dried apricots.

Perfect Serve
Perfectly enjoyable neat, as a longer drink with ginger ale, with just a splash of water, or over ice - enjoy it the way you like.
We really enjoyed this as a longer drink with East Imperials Thai Ginger Ale. Take a tall glass with a couple of large ice cubes and add 50ml of the whisky. Gently pour over 150ml of the ginger ale and mix.
