Klopman Janneman Gin
Janneman Gin is a Dutch Dry Hertog Jan Cask Gin from Haarlem.
It is a spicy gin with subtle citrus and fresh notes. The distillery's "signature" botanical of Nepalese Timut pepper imbues both the spice and citrus notes to the gin.
After distillation, the Janneman gin rests in a medium toasted American oak barrel on which Hertog Jan beer was previously aged.
This gives Janneman beautiful vanilla, grain and wood tones.

Perfect Serve
We have two recommendations for this gin from the distillery itself. East Imperial Tonic Water has light cinnamon notes, which works well with the flavours of the gin. Whilst The London Essence Co. Tonic is light, both in flavour and calories, which ensures the only flavours are from the gin, which are enhanced by the bubbles and quinine in the tonic.
For both of these, we recommend using 50ml of Janneman to 150ml of tonic. Garnish with a few (timut) peppercorns, and a slice of lemon.
