Malibu Original

The history of Malibu goes back to Curaçao where it was created specifically to help bartenders make piña coladas. 

Now known the world over, this coconut flavoured liquer is made from a Caribbean rum base which is produced at the West Indies Rum Distillery (in Barbados). 

Known as 'Sunshine in a Bottle', this liqueur has a lightly toasted coconut aroma which follows through into the taste. It has creamy coconut joined with vanilla (almost custard like) notes. The body is delicate with a soft recognisable and warming rum taste and has a long, silky finish.

Perfect Serve

This is truly one of the most versatile drinks. It works well with mixers and is great in cocktails such as the classic Piña Colada.

For a deliciously refreshing 'classic' Malibu & Coke take a large glass filled with ice and add 35ml of Malibu. Pour in 150ml of Fentimans Curiosity Cola and stir gently. Squeeze in a wedge of lime, and add to the glass for a garnish.

For something a little more spicy, try a Malibu & Ginger. Mix 50ml of Malibu with 100ml of Fever-Tree Ginger Beer (or Ginger Ale if you want it a little milder). Again, squeeze in a wege of lime then drop in to garnish.
