Martin Miller's Summerful Gin
With this gin, Martin Miller's brings a a promise of things full of summer: the days lengthening and the return of the sunshine, the warmth of summer and the countryside filling up with flowers and vegetation. This is their Summerful Gin.
In creating this gin, they have transformed their classic gin. They selected two leading botanicals, Arctic Thyme and Rosemary. These are present in the countrysides of Iceland and England respectively during the summer season.
Covering the rocks of the Icelandic landscape, its flowers are profuse during the short summer season. It lends its floral bouquet and distinct earthy notes, along with a delicate sweetness and hints of both citrus and mint. Widely used in Iceland in numerous infusions due to its medicinal properties.
Across England (and europe), both in the countryside and in the cooking pot, Rosemary gives a distinct fresh flavour. Hints of lemon, a touch more pine complementing the juniper and even balsamic notes.
Along with their original gin, they blend these two summer botanicals to transform the gin into something befitting the summer. Delicious!

Perfect Serve
Best served with a more neutral tonic, so the summer botanicals in the gin can be enjoyed - we found Fentimans Connoiseurs Tonic worked particularly well. In a large glass filled with ice pour 50ml of the gin, and fill the glass with 150 - 200ml of tonic. Stir gently, and then garnish with a slice of grapefruit and a sprig of rosemary
