Monin Ginger Syrup
As a young man (only 19), George Monin started selling branded wines and spirits in 1912. He chose the slogan "Passion for quality" and this is the ethos behind the company to this day. A french company, it is still family owned, and it's now the third generation leading the business.
For many generations ginger has added heat to Asian cuisine - and has long since been adopted in most cultures for its unique taste and reported health benefits.
In more recent times it has become an increasingly popular addition to food and drinks, and brings a combination of fragrant sweetness and warming spice.
For their Ginger Syrup, Monin have created an aromatic, pungy and spicy syrup which adds gingers distinct and exotic taste to whatever drink or desert you chose to use it in.
