Peaky Blinder Spiced Dry Gin 70cl
Deliciously spicy, with an enticing citrus middle note, this is a gin not to be messed with!
Peaky Blinder Spiced Dry Gin
In England's famous 'Black Country' (an area in the middle of the UK, to the North and West of Birmingham), the Sadler family have been creating beer and spirits since 1861.
With over a century's worth of knowledge and passion, the family have created this small batch, handcrafted spiced gin, blended with exotic spices and botanicals.
This range took inspiration (and the name) from the the notorious Peaky Blinders, which was a street gang from Birmingham which operated from the 1890's to the 1930's. This is now also a long running, and popular TV series - Peaky Blinders.
The gin itself has a rich complex flavour and includes exotic spices and botanicals but retains its juniper flavour.
On the nose, it has a rich oaky aroma with tones of coffee and ripened oranges. When tasting, immediately you notice the spice element, with black pepper and warming ginger. This then lessens, and there is an introduction of citrus flavours.
The finish continues with the juniper flavour remaining, and a fresh hit of eucalyptus, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for another sip.

Two options with this gin. Flavoured tonic's don't hold well to the flavours in this gin, so we recommend something neutral like Fever-Tree Indian Tonic. However, if you want to enhance the spicy notes, it also works exceptionally well with Ginger Ale (and this is our favourite).
In a large glass filled with ice, add 50ml of the gin and top up with 150ml of your chosen mixer. Stir gently, and garnish with a slice of orange (this enhances the citrus and works well with the ginger in the gin).
