Porter's Tropical Old Tom Gin
Created from a shared passion for "creating better drinks", Porter's is the brainchild of Alex, Ben and Josh - the founders.
They create their range of gin's in their micro-distillery, which is located beneath a cocktail bar in Aberdeen (Scotland). Their gins are created with a vacuum still, which allows for distilling at a lower temperature. This ensures that the aromatics from the more delicate botanicals do not get destroyed. In this way, a greater range of flavours can be infused in their gins.
With their Tropical Old Tom, Porter's have created the perfect combination of a sweetened gin blended with exotic botanicals - creating a seriously delicious and refined gin.
The cold-distillation process ensures the fruit flavours from the passionfruit, guava and white tea are pronounced. When combined with the sweeter base of an Old Tom gin is really imparts a tropical feeling in both the aroma, and the flavour.

Perfect Serve
This is a particularly versatile gin, working well in the mix, on its own - or in a gin and tonic. In particular it gives a great tropical twist to a Martini! Or for something easier, mix over ice with a neutral tonic (try Fentimans Connoiseurs Tonic), 50ml of gin to 150ml of the tonic. Stir gently and garnish with passionfruit.
