Rebel 10 Year Single Barrel Bourbon 70cl
A ten year aged bourbon from Rebel
Description
Rebel 10 Year Single Barrel Bourbon
Founded in 1849 by William Larue Weller, Rebel have been defying trends since the very beginning. At that time the everyone was creating bourbon using a rye mashbill. They decided to do things differently, and pioneered wheat-based bourbon.
Now, over 170 years later, they continue to defy trends - whilst also winning awards with their wheated recipe.
For their 10 Year edition, Rebel have aged their Bourbon in charred oak barrels. This 10 year ageing creates a unique flavour profile for each batch, due to the characteristics imparted by the barrels. One-of-a-kind, 'just like the rebels who drink it'.
The initial flavours of this bourbon are caramel and citrus. However as the drink progresses, these develop into delicious velvety oak flavours, with just the right amount of spiciness.
