Ron Compañero Panama Extra Anejo is made using rum that has been tropically aged for 12 years and has a taste profile like no other, with a delicious and seductive chocolate note. It also has a higher abv of 54%. which brings more intensity to the flavours and the aroma. 

On the nose there is heavy dark chocolate, hot cream and a touch of citrus. On the palate there is more delicious chocolate, with notes of cocoa. The rum has a hint of orange from the casks but the chocolate is definitely the star. And who doesn't love chocolate?

For a delicious Pan Amargo, pour 40ml Ron Compañero Panama Extra Anejo into a mixing glass with ice and add 20ml Campari, 20ml Sweet Vermouth, 10ml Falurnum ,10ml Ancho Reyes and a dash of chocolate bitters. Stir well and strain into a tumbler with ice. Add orange zest to garnish.
