Six Dogs Blue Gin 70cl
With a distinct blue colouring, this is a deliciously subtle floral gin
Description
Six Dogs Blue Gin
With their Blue Gin, Six Dogs have created a classic dry gin with an intruiging blue colour. ('Blue' was also the name of the smallest of the original Six Dogs from which the distillery gets its name).
The distinct blue colour is entirely natural, and when a good tonic is added, it causes the blue colour to transform to a delightful pink. Magic!
But it's not all just about the show! This gin has a delicate floral flavouring to it. Rose pelargonium, and other Karoo botanicals, give a delightfully light and floral character to the gin.
As well as the slightly floral character, it has hints of freshly-cut lucerne (alfalafa) which blend perfectly with the rose pelargonium. A classic dry gin, with a South African floral twist.
Good to know: As the blue colouring is entirely natural, over time it will discolour. To prolong the delightful colour, keep cool and out of direct sunlight. This doesn't have any effect on the flavour though.

Perfect Serve
To ensure the "magic" from the colour change, this is best enjoyed with a good quality Tonic Water, such as Three Cents Dry Tonic. In a large glass filled with ice, add 50ml of the gin and top up with 100 - 150ml of the tonic. Stir gently as the colour changes, and garnish with some fresh berries.
