Villa Massa Limoncello
A traditional liqueur in the Sorrentine Peninsula (Italy), Limoncello is a symbol of hospitality and the traditions of Sorrento.
Villa Massa's Limoncello is made only with peels of the Sorrento PGI (protected geographical indication) lemons. These are used due to the thickness of them, which ensures they are rich in the essential oils needed to create Limoncello.
Sorrento Lemons are considered to be the best in the world, and it is due to this that they a recognised by the EU and have been granted their PGI.
The recipe that is used is one which has been in the family since 1890, and has been handed down from one generation to the next.
The result of this dedication to tradition, and using the finest lemons is a truly delicious Limoncello. It has a range of citrus flavours which evoke the multi-faceted aromas found in these lemons. On the palate the flavour is leafy, reminiscent of an aromatic Sorrento garden filled with pure, fresh lemon flavours.

Delicious served ice cold, straight freezer - this is truly refreshing!
For an indulgent treat, try a Lemon Cheesecake. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour 40ml of the Limoncello, 20ml Licor 43, 30ml lemon juice, 20ml of sugar syrup and 30ml cream. Shake well and strain into a champagne glass. Garnish with some fresh lemon zest.
