Volsted Albatross Gin
For their Navy Strength Gin, Volsted have taken inspiration from the Albatross.
As this is a navy strength gin, the alcohol content is higher, which allows it to hold more of the essential oils from the botanicals. This really ensures this is a powerhouse; full of flavour.
A classic gin, this has complex juniper and pine flavours which are balanced really well with a fresh hit from lemon zest. Cubeb pepper and grains of paradise give a touch of spice, and rounding it out.
Fun Fact: All the Volsted drinks are names after birds which can be found around the Distillery in the north of Denmark.

Perfect Serve
We recommend this with Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water. Take a large glass filled with ice, and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour in 150ml of the tonic and garnish simply with a slice of lime.
