Wildjac Damson & Raspberry Gin

Based in the Wyre Forest, to the South West of Birmingham in the UK, Wildjac strive to produce a range of sustainable and eco-friendly premium botanical spirits. To this end, they hand-craft their drinks using only 100% natural ingredients which (where possible) they source locally.

For their distinctly coloured Damson & Raspberry Gin, Wildjac have taken inspiration from the many fresh fruits availabile close to their distillery. They use Angelica, orange, organic autumn bliss raspberries and organic shropshire prune damsons from the Augernik Fruit Farm, juniper and coriander.

This gives a gin with a delicious red hue, along with rich berry and juniper aromas. On the palate the fruit is the real star, with juicy sharp damsons, and sweet ripe raspberry flavours. The finish is floral, with a hint of ripe fruit jam

Perfect Serve

Absolutely delicious drunk neat over ice, but also works well in the mix. We like this with both Fentimans Indian Tonic Water or their Ginger Ale, which gives it a little spicy kick to the fruit.

For either, take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150ml of your chosen mixer, and stir gently. Garnish with one or two raspberries (frozen work perfectly).
