Mombasa Club Lemon Edition Gin
Inspired by the traditions of gin drinking in the British Empire, Mombasa Club was named after a famous private social club that was founded in 1885. They imported gin from England to the island of Zanzibar for their members to enjoy.
To ensure a smooth gin, the base is a classic london dry gin which has been triple-distilled. This base is then carefully infused with a selection of ripe Mediterranean lemons, giving it a crisp and refreshing flavour.
On the nose the lemon makes itself known immediately, giving a crisp and clean aroma with just a hint of juniper.
In the mouth this is immediately zesty, clean and bright in flavor gin with a touch of acidity which cleanses the palate. Classic gin botanicals from the originating london dry base come through and compliment the mediterranean lemons which also add a truly fruity feeling. The result, as the delicate yellow hue shows, is a perfectly balanced citrus gin.

This is a really zesty and fruity gin, and we think it's definitely best served with a neutral tonic such as Fever-Tree Indian Tonic. If you like a touch of sweetness - try with their mediterranean tonic.
Take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150 - 200ml of your chosen tonic and stir gently. Garnish with a fresh slice of lemon.
