Whitley Neill Gooseberry Gin
This special (and limited edition) from the makers of the UK's number one best selling gin is a delicious homage to a fond memory for Johnny Neill. Having moved to Devon at an early age, Johnny would pick the local Gooseberries and his mother would create a Gooseberry Fool (a dessert made with whipped cream) for the family to enjoy.
It is a perfect start to their Limited Edition range. It explores the family of one of the core botanicals of Whitley Neill Original: The Cape Gooseberry.
As well as Gooseberry and Juniper, the botanicals in this gin are: Coriander Seed, Cassia Bark, Orris Root, Angelica Root, Liquorice, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Plum and Pear
This is a deliciously fruity gin, with a slight tartness to it, delicious with a slightly sweetened tonic to balance it.
Perfect Serve
We love this gin with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic. Add 50 ml to a large glass filled with ice. Add 150ml of the tonic, and stir gently. Garnish with a slice of fresh green apple.
