Buss No. 509 Elderflower Gin
Initially released purely as a part of the authors collection this delightfully blue / purple gin has now found a permanent home in the range.
The botanicals in this gin are juniper berries, coriander, liquorice, angelica, vanilla, cardamom, iris root, orange zest, lemon zest, fresh blueberries and of course elderflower.
The brilliant blue colour of this gin is due to the blueberries, and not the elderflowers (which are white). Buss Spirits don't use additivies for colour or sweetness.
The aroma of this gin is earthy, with a note of elderflower and a hint of spice. The flavour is definitely full of the elderflower, with a degree of sweetness. This sweetness lingers through to the drink to the end.

Perfect Serve
Depending on how sweet you like your drink, we have two options. Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic allows the flavours to really come through, and doesnt sweeten the drink too much. If you want a slightly sweeter flavour, try Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water.
With either option, take a large copa glass and fill with ice. Pour in 50ml of the gin and top up with 150 - 200ml of your chosen mixer. Stir gently, and garnish with a stick of cinnamon and a few slices of fresh apple.
