(Formerly known as: Drentse Heidelikeur)
This delicious honey sweetened liqueur has been made since 1988.
Hooghoudt try to keep the sourcing of their ingredients as local to them (in Groningen) as possible. With the heather honey they use for this liqueur they had to go outside their province, but not far. The heather heath's where the honey bees make their honey are in the neighbouring province of Drenthe.
The flavours found within this liqueur are the heather honey, but also a touch of spice (star anise, cinnamon, liquorice and clove), as well as a little orange zest.
This is a 100% natural product, and uses Drenthe heath honey from beekeeper de BijZaak from Yde.

Perfect Serve
Best served neat at room temperature, but can also be enjoyed after a meal as a digestif.
