Kalevala Barrel Aged Gin
With their Barrel Aged gin, Kalevala are creating an annual limited edition which will mature over the years.
The base gin they use is their Blue Label. After the initial distillation it is then aged for between 6 and 9 months. The number and origin of the barrels varies from year to year, which makes for a unique experience in each and every vintage.
The flavour of juniper is firmly in the middle, yet is surrounded by citrus notes and a delicate ginger touch in the background. With a warm and elegant start, the maturation within the barrel gives the gin a subtle vanilla tone as well.

Perfect Serve
This is a delicious gin, and for those long autumn evenings, it's is the perfect companion to sit and enjoy pure. However, this also works exceptionally well within a Negroni, adding a little extra to the cocktail.

Typical ScandinavianIk heb deze Gin puur gedronken (zo drink ik Gin altijd) en vond hem mooi van smaak. De vanille tonen zijn idd aanwezig en dat maakt hem met zn warme smaak ideaal voor dit koude winterweer. Ik heb ervan genoten :-).

special but exceptionally goodNot only a very beautiful bottle but also a exceptionally good gin. Something quite different, at least for my normal taste. But: I simply love it.
