The delistillery where Malfy Originale Gin is produced is situated in Moncalieri, just outside Torino. This area is famed for its production of fine wines and spirits.
It's said that avid climbers Carlo Vergnano and Beppe Ronco (the distillers behind Malfy Gin) were inspired during a climb to the top of Monviso (which can be seen from the distillery). There they saw wild juniper, pure water, and amazing colours of nature and lakes.
If you’re craving that feeling of warm sunshine, or want the feeling of a holiday in Italy, then this gin has just the taste for you... Not just Italian oranges, Malfy have also combined a selection of ripe Sicilian blood oranges to blend with the finest botanicals and handpicked juniper. The result is a succulent and vibrant flavour.
The aroma is almost floral, with succulent orange blossom merging with a background note of piney juniper. The taste doesn't disappoint either, with a rich bitter-sweet citrus flavour.
Perfect Serve
This gin works perfectly with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic. In a copa glass, mix 50ml of gin with 150ml of tonic. Garnish with a slice of orange. Simple, and refreshing!
