Martini Rosato Vermouth

In 1980 Martini created its first new product in 70 years. It was created to satisfy modern tastes, and was made from a different base than their previous products. 

For their Rosato, the Martini company produced a base of red and white wines. These are then blended with cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon, and the process occurs in Martini's 'Alambicco' (a vessel for distilling). Using a delicate process they use madagascan cloves and Sri-Lankan cinnamon quills, along with a selection of other botanicals and carefully extract the distinct Rosato fragrance and flavours. 

The result is a deliciously aromatic spiced vermouth, which has won numerous awards the world over since its relase over 40 years ago.

Perfect Serve

This creates a deliciously refreshing long drink when mixed with tonic. Take a large copa or wine glass and fill with ice. Pour in 60ml of the vermouth, and gently pour over 60ml of your chosen tonic. We like this with a neutral tonic like Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water. Stir gently, and garnish with a slice of grapefruit
