Thunder Really Pink Gin

Thunder is well known for it's Toffee Vodka (arguably the "Best Toffee Vodka in the World"), now they have ventured 'to the other side' and have created what they believe is the "World’s Pinkest Gin".

Created at Thames Distillers in London, their Master Distiller Charles Maxwell ensured this is a gin which would not just be known for its vibrant pink colour!

Made from all natural ingredients, the delicious fruity taste comes from specially selected botanicals including juniper, coriander, cassia, liquorice, orange, angelica, elderberries, raspberries and redcurrants.

Whilst pink and definitely fruity - this is still a gin at it's heart, and has a proud juniper note. This also lends a pine scent to the gin, along with a hint of spicy coriander. 

However there is also no getting away from the fact this is definitely a pink gin! It's wonderfully fruity, which is thanks to the elderberries, raspberries and redcurrants (which also help with the colour).

This is also vegan friendly, and uses sustainably sourced ingredients - which makes this, according to Thunder, a perfect 'guilt-free' boozy pleasure (and we don't disagree!)

Perfect Serve

This works exceptionally well with lemonades, soda or a classic tonic. Whichever mixer you chose, use around 150 - 200ml to 50ml of the gin. Combine in a large glass and garnish with some fresh berries and a sprig of mint.

Tip: A citrus tonic works well at balancing the fruitiness of this gin. Try Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic Water, or The Artisan Drinks Co's Amalfi Lime Tonic.
