Kyrö Single Malt Rye Whisky

What started as just a dream in a sauna, became the first Finnish single-batch rye whisky made from 100% malted Finnish wholegrain rye. They admit that they didn't have any idea how to make whisky the 'right' way, so instead they did it 'their' way, and we are very happy they did. 

This deliciously smooth whisky is double pot-stilled and aged through the Finnish dark winters and bright summers in new American oak. The combination of the intesne, spicy Finnish rye, the distillation process and their bold choice of barrels has resulted in a whisky like no other - you will not have tasted anything like this before. 

The nose is aromatic with sweet vanilla and caramel, dried fruits and the earthy rye. On the palate, there is the taste of sweet rye bread, honey and wild berries. It has a smooth peppery finish with hints of caramel and mocha.

Perfect Serve

Enjoy your Kyrö rye whisky exactly how you like it - neat, with ice or in a cocktail.

For a tasty Whisky Sour, add 50ml Kyrö, 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice, 15-20ml sugar syrup and an egg white into a cocktail shaker. Shake well to create the foam and then add ice. Shake again to cool, pour into a glass and garnish with orange peel.

For a great alternative to egg white, you can use fee Brothers Fee Foam instead.
