Passoã Liqueur
First created in 1985, Passoã is a passion-fruit liqueur which is made in France. It was then launched within the European market in 1986 - and across the rest of the world in 1994. It's since gone on to become the world's best-selling passion-fruit liqueur.
Fun fact: Whilst Passoã may look Portuguese, the name doesnt actually mean anything! In Portuguese, passion is 'paixão' and passion-fruit is 'maracujá'!
The liqueur itself has a red colour, and contains real passion-fruit juice from Brazil as well as mango, pineapple and coconut. This gives it a delicious rich tropical flavour.
Perfect Serve
This is a really versatile drink, and it mixes well with fruit juices, sodas, tonic or even ginger ale (to give a little warmth).
It also works exceptionally well in cocktails - such as in the Pornstar Martini for which it's very well known - but you can also add it to a Sangria, or even a Mojito to give a delicious twist to a classic.
