San Pablo Reserva 8 Years Curaçao Rum 70cl
Description
San Pablo Reserva 8 Years Curaçao Rum
The first rum, San Pablo Gold Rum was produced in Cuba in the 1920's by Sr Justo Gonzalez. In the 1930's an export deal was done with August Damian Jonckheer from the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao, and the rum made its way to the island. After years of importing the rum, in 1945 the first small batch was crafted on the island, creating Curaçao's first rum.
By 1960, the distillery in Cuba had closed and August Damian Jonckheer purchased the company and the recipes, before building the Ron San Pablo production facility in Curaçao. Over the next 30 years, San Pablo established itself as the most popular rum on the island.
Moving into a new era, in 2021 the San Pablo Reserva 1945 range was born. A range of exquisite, blended rums made from the finest rums in the world, and using a recipe that had been locked away for over 60 years in the company vault.
San Pablo Reserva 8 Years Curaçao Rum is a deliciously smooth rum, made from the highest quality ingredients and using a blend of rums aged for a minimum of 8 years. On the nose, there is an initial aroma of banana, followed by sweet honey. On the pallet the sweeness continues with honey and dried fruits, leading to caramel and vanilla that linger to the finish.
