Whilst the Volcan De Mi Tierra Tequila brand is part of the Moet Hennesy family, the history behind their tequila's dates back a lot further.
Over 200,000 years ago the 'tequila' volcano erupted, coating the jalisco regon of mexico with volcanic ash - resulting in rich, fertile soil. This is reflected in the brand name, with Volcan De Mi Tierra translating as “land of the volcano”.
Over 300 years of heritage - passion, knowledge and experience from the Gallardo family ensures a truly unique and distinct Tequila.
Their Volcán De Mi Tierra Blanco Tequila brings fruity notes of pear and cherries from the Highland agave, and blends this with citrus, herbal, and spicy notes from the Lowlands agave. On the palate this gives sweey agave notes, delicate hints of grapefruit and just the right touch of black pepper spice.

This is a versatil Blanco Tequila, and can be enjoyed in a myriad of ways.
How about a 'La Valoma' cocktail? In a mixing glass filled with ice, add 40ml of the Blanco Tequila, 15ml of Lime Juice, 15ml of Agave Syrup (if not available, sugar syrup is an okay substitute), a pinch of salt and 30ml of grapefruit juice. Stir well, and strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice. Top up the glass with soda water.
