Tarquin's is an independent family run distillery based in Cornwall (a county in the South-West of the UK). They pride themselves in creating distinctive, award-winning gins just that "little bit differently". creating some truly delicious gins.
For their Strawberry and Lime gin, Tarquin's have created a modern take on a fruit led, dry gin. They distil with 14 botanicals sourced from across the globe and locally foraged on the wild Cornish coast.
The botanicals which make this gin so special are: Juniper, Coriander Seed, Liquorice root, Angelica root, Orris Root, Green Cardamon, Cinnamon, Bitter Almonds, Fresh Orange, Lemon & Grapefruit Peel and Violets. Joining these are the signature flavours from the Lime zest and British Strawberries.
The result is a gin which is a true celebration of the Strawberry & Lime.
On the nose there is a fragrant juniper aroma, with zesty lime, orange blossom and warming spices. On the palate there is an initial burst of the wild strawberry flavour which is joined by juniper, and just a hint of black pepper. The finish is of candied strawberry jam as well as sweet marmalade. The dryness of the gin remains though, as there are no added sugars (all the sweetness comes purely from the fruit).

Perfect Serve
We love this with a light tonic such as Fentimans naturally light tonic. In a large galss filled with ice add 50ml of the gin, and gently pour over 150ml of your chosen tonic. Garnish with strawberries and a slice of lime.
