1689 Dutch Pink Gin 70cl
The first Dutch pink gin, beatifully flavoured with strawberries and raspberries
Description
1689 Dutch Pink Gin
The very first ever Dutch Pink Gin.
This beautiful pink gin is based on the authentic 1689 Dutch Dry Gin recipe where strawberries and raspberries are added to the distillation process, giving it a traditional pink colour and a delicious fruity flavour.
In the original 1689 recipe it was recommended to drink this gin with these two ingredients, bruised in a glass. Hence, this pink gin is as close as it gets to being the first ever pink gin in the world.

Perfect Serve
We have two perfect serves for this gin:
For a more classic gin tonic, we recommend serving with a neutral tonic. In a large glass filled with ice, add 50ml gin and 150ml of tonic. Stir gently, and then garnish with strawberries and raspberries.
For a less bitter mixer, we recommend with Fentimans Rose Lemonade. This doesn't have the quinine found in a tonic, and lends a gently floral and fruity note to the gin. In a large glass, add 50ml gin and 150ml of the soda. Stir gently, and again, garnish with strawberries and raspberries.
