Monin Muscovado Sugar Syrup
As a young man (only 19), George Monin started selling branded wines and spirits in 1912. He chose the slogan "Passion for quality" and this is the ethos behind the company to this day. A french company, it is still family owned, and it's now the third generation leading the business.
Mauritius is well known for offering the largest variety of Muscovado sugar in the world. Some of these offer soft flavour, whilst others are dark and bitter.
In creating their Muscovado sugar syrup, Monin have selected a blend which ensures a balanced flavour and character to their syrup. Both bitter caramel and gingerbread come through - along with hints of ripe fruits and dark, rich sugar notes.

Perfect Serve
The flavours in this syrup add hints of intense woody spirits which have been aged in casks to vodka and gin. It also combines exceptionally well with Cold Brew coffee, adding chocolate notes.
