Whitley Neill Oriental Spiced Gin 70cl
A spicy gin inspired by the plethora of spices found in the orient
Description
Whitley Neill Oriental Spiced Gin
From the makers of the UK's number one best selling premium gin, comes their exotic mix of oriental flavours, which was inspired by Johnny Neill’s travels to the Indian subcontinent in the late 1990s.
Their Oriental Spiced Gin is carefully distilled is distilled with a particular focus on the exotic flavours and aromas of the Orient. The botanicals used in it's creation are Juniper, Coriander Seed, Sweet Orange, Lemon, Lemon Peel, Ginger, Tumeric, Chilli, Saffron, Star Anise, Cumin Seeds as well as Grains of Paradise
The resulting aroma of this gin is delightfully fragrant. Cardamom, cubeb pepper aling with coriander all lead into a fresh citrus note, and herbaceous piney juniper.
The flavour brings juniper through, but very quickly joined by warming and earthy notes of cumin, pepper, and ginger. This is freshened with a hint of lemon. As the name suggests, this leads to a long and tantalising finish, full of pepper and savoury spice.

Perfect Serve
As a spicy gin, this particularly leads itself to being enjoyed with ginger beer (or ale). Take a tall glass and add a few ice cubes. Pour in 50ml of the gin, and fill the glass with ginger beer (we like Fever-Tree's with this one) - around 200ml is a good amount. Stir gently, and garnish with some fresh mint and a thin slice of ginger.
It works well with a neutral tonic too, such as Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water.
