Bertha's Revenge Navy Strength Gin 50cl
A navy strength expression of Berha's Irish Milk Gin
Description
Bertha's Revenge Navy Strength Gin
Made using an alcohol base which comes from milk, Bertha's Gin is certainly something unique! The milk itself comes from the dairy farmers in Cork, and from this whey alcohol is created and used as the base spirit. Along with this, natural well water and a mix of locally foraged, and sustainably sourced botanicals go together to create this gin.
For the third member of their 'herd', the team at Bertha's Revenge have created a Navy Strength Gin. They raised the alcohol content to 57.1%, and adjusted the botanical blend of the gin. This was needed as the higher alcohol content picks up more of the botanical flavours. In this way they have accentuated one or two of the more pronounced flavour notes.
The result, and extra strength gives the spices in the gin a greater platform and this is a truly flavour packed gin. It remains smooth and well-balanced though.

Perfect Serve
Delicious enjoyed neat over ice (in moderation... this is definitely a strong drink!). It also works with a tonic, or in a cocktail. We particularly liked this in a Gimlet.
For a Navy gin and tonic, take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over a neutral tonic (we like Fentimans Premium Indian Tonic), 150ml works well. Garnish with a slice of orange.
