Six Dogs Honey Lime Gin
Taking farm honey, home-grown limes, and premium botanical spirit - Six Dogs have created a deliciously different citrus gin.
Created when Six Dogs were approached by Bee Smiths (a South African bee conservation company) to house some rescued bees on their farm. With the farm being located where the Fynbos and Karoo biomes meet, ensuring a delicious honey from the bees.
Through experimentation, a unique gin has been created, which combines the zestiness of the farm-grown limes with the contrasting subtle sweetness of the honey. Interestingly, whilst the delectable taste of honey is noticeable, the sweetness is exceptionally mild - to the point this is certainly not a sweet gin.
The aroma of this gin entices you into the glass. Honey and lime are both instantly noticeable, with a touch of juniper. On the palate, there are classic notes of juniper, coriander and the earthy tones of angelica which is complemented by a bite of zesty limes. The subtle infusion of honey softens the overall taste.

Perfect Serve
Easily enjoyed neat, over ice - this can also make a really enjoyable citrus gin and tonic. It's best to use a neutral tonic, such as Three Cents Dry to ensure all the nuances of the gin can shine. Take a glass filled with ice and add 50ml of gin and 100 - 150ml of the tonic. Garnish simple with a slice of lime.
