This is a real quintissential London Dry Gin from the original James Burrough recipe. Desmond Payne - the world's most experienced master distiller - oversees a bold and distinctive gin that sets the standard for London Dry Gins.
This gin has been made since 1863 and now claims the title of the world's most awarded gin.
With a great juniper character and strong citrus notes, this is an authentically real London Dry for those who enjoy the real taste of gin.
It might be surprising to note that despite being an internationally renowned company, Beefeater sticks to its traditions and still distils in the heart of London on the banks of the River Thames. The original 19th century recipe with nine plant ingredients (juniper, lemon zest, Seville orange peel, almond, coriander seed, orris root, licorice root, angelica, and angelica seed) is still used today.
